  • 8/30/2021 Oregon Sea Otter Reintroduction Draft Feasibility Study Available For Public Review
  • 6/22/2021 Open Spaces online Magazine Article: Returning Sea Otters to Oregon: Repairing a Torn Fabric
  • 3/11/2021 We are thrilled to announce that Bob Bailey, Board President of the Elakha Alliance, is the 2021 recipient of the Conservation Policy Award from the Oregon Chapter of The Wildlife Society.
  • 1/1/2021 Elakha Alliance funds third-party economic impact analysis to evaluate the costs/benefits of sea otter reintroduction on coastal communities, fisheries stakeholders, tourism industry and other ocean users.
  • 12/29/2020 With input from the Elakha Alliance, Senator Merkley included language in the the Appropriations Bill of 2021 Fiscal Year, to direct the USFWS to study sea otter reintroduction throughout their U.S. Pacific range.
  • 12/22/2020 Elakha position on Oregon Rocky Shores Habitat Designations.
